Meet Jeff Richter

A Corpus Christi native, Jeff Richter was born and raised in Corpus. After graduating from Flour Bluff High School in 2001, Mr. Richter received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Texas Christian University (TCU) in 2004, with minors in both Economics and Business. While at TCU, Mr. Richter served as an intern to U.S. House Majority Leader Tom Delay in Washington, D.C. Mr. Richter attended law school at the University of Texas School of Law in Austin, Texas, where he was a student attorney with the UT School of Law Criminal Defense Clinic.
After finishing law school, Mr. Richter practiced general civil litigation as a defense attorney, focusing his practice primarily on first-party insurance disputes. Mr. Richter returned to Corpus Christi in December of 2012 to begin focusing his practice on representing plaintiffs in lawsuits.
Mr. Richter joined Sico Hoelscher Harris LLP in February of 2014. His practice includes a wide variety of catastrophic personal injury and death cases involving automotive and tire product defect litigation, commercial trucking litigation, refinery and workplace accidents, general product liability, negligence and premises liability, commercial and other business litigation, and oil and gas litigation on behalf of both corporate clients, and individual landowners.
When not in the office, Mr. Richter enjoys spending time with his wife and two dogs, playing golf and disc golf, and watching TCU football and Texas Rangers baseball. He is also an advocate for persons dealing with diabetes and has actively volunteered with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JRDF) and American Diabetes Association.
