Meet Miranda J. Cook
Skilled Product Liability Attorney
Miranda J. Cook is one of the attorneys in the San Antonio, Texas office. Miranda is originally from the Rio Grande Valley, but this is not her first time living in San Antonio. After graduating from Cornell University, Miranda moved to San Antonio to join City Year San Antonio, an AmeriCorp program. Miranda spent a full year volunteering as a Corp Member in CYSA, where she tutored and mentored inner city at-risk youth at Mark Twain Middle School. San Antonio is also where Miranda met her husband, Moses. They were both very happy to return to a community they love after Miranda graduated from Baylor Law School.
Miranda participated in her first mock trial when she was in 3rd grade, and continued competing in mock trial competitions throughout high school, college, and law school. During her time at Baylor, Miranda was a semi-finalist in Baylor’s “Mad Dog” Mock Trial Competition, and won the Plaintiff’s Best Memorandum Award at the Stetson National Pre-Trial Competition in Florida. Miranda also received the designation of Barrister, and made the Dean’s List throughout law school.
Miranda chose a legal career for the same reasons she volunteered with AmeriCorp – to live a life in service of others. Miranda is passionate about getting justice for her clients, and promoting accountability in the community. She believes in accomplishing these goals through hard work, perseverance, and commitment.
